the mountain side was full of wonderful plants and trees

i also suspected that there might be truffles because i saw diggings

the wild boar had been loosening up the dirt around some of the trees.

the other travelers were at Pont Du Guard

i stayed at the inn to paint. The weather was threatening so i prepared three 6x8 canvas boards and was hopeing i would get some quick paintings.

It was a fun day of running in and out of the rain to paint.
